Fun-loving granny who likes to educate, inspire & entertain. Lyn is very active in the Isle of Wight community and used to run a networking group, Wightbuzz, to help small businesses to grow and raise their visibility. She became known as #LiveStreamLyn encouraging many business owners to push the button and go live. She attempted to live stream every day whether it was top tips from the bus stop or a carnival procession or a ladies' lunch meeting. She then became known as #Golivegranny, livestreaming many of the Isle of Wight events getting thousands of views- then the pandemic hit so Lyn entertained the community from her desk. . She is an active charity fundraiser, she loves knitting which she also does for charity. She loves travelling on the buses around the Isle of Wight and knits and crochets as she travels.

For nearly a year now, I have been helping at the community hub run by Jan of Isle Access . It takes place on a Friday morning at the Newport and Carisbrooke community Council Building in Newport High Street. This afternoon, Baroness Natalie Bennett, former leader of the Green party visited the Isle of Wight to support Vix Lowthian, the People’s Champion in the east Wight Primary and Green candidate. there was a brilliant turnout and a sea of green. People power is making it happen. We have two days left before we go to the polls on Thursday in the general election 2024.

@@Valee_7 well it’s three minutes to the polls closing as I read this. I am going to stay up and watch the results well I’m going to try not to fall asleep. Apparently the Island will be declaring between 2 and 4 am but I can sleep tomorrow.!
Hello Lyn. What a lovely video. I'm all for conservation and a better environment. That's something very important to this world. But some of the Green Party policies are awful. I can't get behind the national party. Great video though.
